A nice little theater. Agree with a couple other reviews that it does need a bit of TLC as its age is showing inside and out. Ticket prices aren't the greatest value but it's one of the few places to go to see plays and such.
The show I saw was incredible. The seats were fairly comfortable (I had an end seat). But I was four or five rows back from the front of the mezzanine and could only see the back half of the stage. The front row or orchestra would have been much better. I'll definitely go see another show, but in different seats.
This historic venue got a facelift, and it's amazing. The colors and the detail in the decoration are amazing. The venue is fairly small so it provides a very intimate environment for seeing a concert from one of your favorite artists. Check out their website to see who's coming because they get some great opportunities with us being so close to Atlanta. You can save the drive, save your money, and have a great experience here in Augusta.

We went to see Marty Stuart in concert - a shockingly good show that delighted the entire audience! I love the atmosphere of the theatre and the staff is always so friendly!
Amazing intimate venue! If you have the opportunity to catch a show at the Imperial, do it! Absolutely stunning history.
Went and seen a ballet here it was very nice even though we was at the very top at the roof so the employees called it but it was still nice wasnt to loud and could still see everything perfectly. No complaints was able to get tickets last minute and all the staff was nice
I have been plenty of times, and I will go back. I would recommend it for the shows that play there. I give it a two because it really needs some TLC. It is old.
